In mid-September, the Journalistic Role Performance (JRP) Project continued its global training series with two workshops aimed at preparing national teams for the third wave of the project.

The first session took place on September 15–16 at the University of Bucharest, bringing together researchers from Bulgaria, Serbia, the Czech Republic, France, Romania, and Ethiopia. Over two days, participants worked intensively on fieldwork preparation and on strengthening collaboration across countries. The workshop provided an important space to discuss methodological updates and ensure consistency across the diverse contexts represented.

Only a few days later, on September 19–20, a second training was hosted by the University of Helsinki, with the participation of colleagues from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Estonia. Teams engaged in discussions and hands-on activities to refine the implementation of the project in their respective countries.

We are deeply grateful to all our hosts and participants for their commitment and active engagement. Special thanks go to Romina Surugiu and her team at the University of Bucharest, and to Viljami Vaarala and Jaana Hujanen at the University of Helsinki, for their hospitality and dedication in making these sessions possible.
