With our visit to the Middle East, we successfully wrapped up our training process for 2019, a process in which our chair Claudia Mellado trained researchers from over 30 countries during the year.
Our two closing workshops occurred in Doha and Abu Dhabi, where countries discussed how journalistic performance roles adapt to their local contexts and got our researchers ready to start their fieldwork process next year. Nine countries participated in these two final workshops: Qatar, Turkey, India, Kuwait, Pakistan, Greece, Venezuela, UAE, and Egypt.
Thanks to the support of Zayed University, Northwestern University Qatar, and our PIs Nagwa Fahmy, and Jairo Lugo we were able to delve deep into the aspects required to carry out our visit, and exchange experiences with our colleagues.
